Editing

The difference an Editor makes

We are story teller and first audiance, our job is highly complex.

And rarely understood

We sculpt, shave, cut, slice, trim.

We decide when to reorder

We decide when to add time

We decide when to take it away

When to tighten and when to let it breath

We impose form, structure, and logic

We enanche the performance of others and correct their mistake

What we choose to take away is as critical as what we choose to keep

Through hundreds of creative, selective and structural decisions and from hours of raw material

We create, jeopardy, tension, excitement but the less you notice our work the more successful we have been.
